Our analysis will review 9 important criteria for a well performing site. We'll analyze up to 5 pages of your site and present you with recommendations for improving deficiencies. Here's what we'll evaluate:

1. Site design -- overall look and "feel" of your site
2. Navigation -- how easy can a visitor move around on your site
3. Load time -- how fast does your site load (28.8 modem)
4. Broken links -- links that go nowhere
5. Link popularity -- how many pages link to your site
6. Browser compatibility -- does your site have problems with earlier browsers
7. Search engine indexing -- have the major search engines indexed your site
8. HTML code -- how is the code structured and optimized for search engines
9. Message effectiveness -- how clear is your message (including spelling and grammar problems)

This analysis will use the above criteria to compare 2 of your competitor's sites with yours. We'll analyze up to 5 pages of each site and provide recommendations for improvement.

search engine submission

We will manually submit your site to major search engines and directories. (We do not use auto submission programs as they can hurt your chances of being indexed). Though it can take weeks or even months to be indexed, most search engines will list your site in 2-4 weeks. If your site has not been indexed by a particular search engine after 4 weeks, we will re-submit to that search engine at no charge. Some of the search engines/directories charge fees to be listed ($30 - $299). When this is the case, the listing fee is in addition to our charges. We would include recommendations as to which search engines and/or directories are most beneficial for your site.

Meta tags, page keywords, and other "behind the scenes" structures are important pieces of HTML code used by many search engines to rank your site. Using a variety of techniques, DataTech Designs will analyze your existing pages and suggest improvements. Or, if your site lacks these important components, we will create them for your site.

In addition to basic optimization techniques (above), there are advanced techniques available to improve your site's search engine ranking.
